Sorry for the delay in posting here. Nothing like having 3g service and mostly 1x or no service for 3 days camping while trying to upload a video and post to social media outlets to get it viewed. Crazy. I really do need to get back on Verizon and ditch sprint. Though this is not about that this is about the box on HTB known as Irked. The initial steps were a bit CTFish but while the priv esc was simple it shows you that proper enumeration of suid files and understanding the errors you are getting can lead to a quick root.
